By focusing on the breath, we are focusing on the present moment and creating an opportunity to release any negative energy that we may be holding in our body.
Often Breathwork can be seen as an invaluable part of the healing process as it supports us working through our own mental, physical and emotional blocks that do not allow us to thrive.

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE
EFT is a self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body's acupressure points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. It is often referred to as ‘Tapping’. The therapeutic effects of this technique have been recognized globally. EFT Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We ‘tap’ on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness. The aim is to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that hold us back. Derived from the Japanese words "rei" (universal) "ki" (life force), Reiki is a non-invasive energy healing modality that is often used to rebalance the body through the use of light touch or placing hands slightly above the body where energy may be stagnant. Mindfulness is an art and practice of attending to the present moment through attuned focus, without adding anything (more or less) to the experience of whatever arises. Mindfulness is an exercise of suspending judgment to unleash our natural curiosity about the workings of the mind, which then leads us to approaching our experience with compassion for self and others.
Some of the benefits of engagement in a mindfulness practice are: improved concentration and mental clarity, increased impulse-control, greater objectivity, enhanced emotional intelligence and overall mental flexibility, felt sense of calmness and ease, and the ability to relate to others and one's self with kindness, acceptance and compassion.
Meditation as a form of mindfulness is often utilized in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities as an integrative approach to healing. Is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. It is the life’s work of Dr. Peter A. Levine, a form of alternative therapy aimed at relieving symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental and physical-related trauma health problems.
