The therapeutic environment allows space for people to obtain confidential support while looking at current challenges, patterns that no longer serve them, and assistance with envisioning a life in alignment with their highest potential. People come to therapy for many different reasons, including depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, a history of trauma, a recent traumatic event, or a general feeling of being stuck.

Therapists at Enlightened Vibrations work with individuals, couples, and families, to provide a safe space for people to truly look at their inner experience and what is blocking them. We offer a unique approach that combines talk therapy with possible additional modalities to co-create sessions based on your specific goals and areas of concern. Whether it is your first-time seeking help, or you have been in therapy before, our approach can help reconnect the mind with the body, aiding in relief from physical and mental pain as well as increased awareness and insight. The support from our therapists can lead to additional tools to help adapt to life’s challenges, decreased stress, and improved relationships with both self and others.

Breathwork is a form of conscious breathing that brings awareness to the body by helping you to connect to subconscious thoughts, patterns, traumas, and emotions that may be creating challenges in your day to day life. By focusing on the breath, we are focusing on the present moment and creating an opportunity to release any negative energy that we may be holding in our body.

Often Breathwork can be seen as an invaluable part of the healing process as it supports us working through our own mental, physical and emotional blocks that do not allow us to thrive.

Breathwork can be used to support those who may be feeling "stuck" in life including those who may be struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, anger, fear, trauma, and chronic pain. It creates a space for the mind and the body to relax and re-establish a connection to self by allowing emotions and energy to flow. Though Breathwork is often a guided practice, it is the belief that each of us holds the inner wisdom for our own self healing.

EFT is a self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body's acupressure points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. It is often referred to as ‘Tapping’. The therapeutic effects of this technique have been recognized globally. EFT Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We ‘tap’ on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness. The aim is to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that hold us back. One can use EFT tapping for anxiety, compulsive thoughts, weight loss concerns, pain, stress and many other issues. (Adapted from EFT International)

Derived from the Japanese words "rei" (universal) "ki" (life force), Reiki is a non-invasive energy healing modality that is often used to rebalance the body through the use of light touch or placing hands slightly above the body where energy may be stagnant. It can also be used as a way to activate the body's relaxation response and natural healing capabilities.

During a Reiki session, a safe space is created to support the connection of mind, body, and spirit in releasing any pain, emotional distress, or dis-ease we may be carrying. Incorporating Reiki into a healing journey can be a rewarding experience for those seeking to improve their overall well-being and life balance.

Mindfulness is an art and practice of attending to the present moment through attuned focus, without adding anything (more or less) to the experience of whatever arises.  Mindfulness is an exercise of suspending judgment to unleash our natural curiosity about the workings of the mind, which then leads us to approaching our experience with compassion for self and others.

Some of the benefits of engagement in a mindfulness practice are: improved concentration and mental clarity, increased impulse-control, greater objectivity, enhanced emotional intelligence and overall mental flexibility, felt sense of calmness and ease, and the ability to relate to others and one's self with kindness, acceptance and compassion.

Meditation as a form of mindfulness is often utilized in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities as an integrative approach to healing. Meditation can help you to become better at separating yourself from negative thoughts, emotions, and body sensations that may be present before they become too overwhelming. By achieving a state of awareness, you may find it easier to implement other strategies, further your psychological insights, and foster emotional healing over time.

Is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. It is the life’s work of Dr. Peter A. Levine, a form of alternative therapy aimed at relieving symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental and physical-related trauma health problems. The SE™ approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. SE offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states. This helps to facilitate completion of self-protective motor responses and the release of thwarted survival energy bound in the body, thus addressing the root case of trauma symptoms. Sessions involve a client tracking their own experience & offer a bottom up approach by gently guiding clients to develop increasing tolerance for difficult bodily sensations and suppressed emotions. Sessions also often involve touch work to help further facilitate movement in the physiology towards healing.

Integrative Restoration Yoga Nidra Meditation is an evidence-based form of guided meditation that has been shown to resolve symptoms associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The simple steps of iRest (which have been tested in clinical trials) calm the nervous system, release stress, increase resiliency and restore a sense of balance and control. iRest is a meditation practice based on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra and adapted to suit the conditions of modern life and was created by clinical psychologist Richard C. Miller. When practiced regularly - a little and often - iRest enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and wellbeing, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation. iRest can be offered in both group and individual practices.

Is a polyvagal-informed model that uses intentional mindful touch to bring the unconscious memories held in the body into conscious awareness. Working with the polyvagal nervous system, NATouch™ helps establish a new somatic foundation from which to rework trauma-based unconscious behavioral responses and rebuild self-awareness and identity. NAT uses touch as a vital bridge to body-mind integration. By highlighting the primary role of the body and emphasizing its equal importance to the mind, NeuroAffective Touch® addresses emotional, relational, and developmental deficits that cannot be reached by verbal means alone.
